New Impressions: Pseudodoxia, Vulgar errors and Thomas Browne
Darren Leader Studio in collaboration with the UEA’s Unlocking the Archive created ‘New Impressions: redesigning Norwich’s Renaissance books’, a creative research project and exhibition which featured the work of graphic designers, print makers and artists based in East Anglia.
Studio submitted work which responded to the Renaissance book, ‘Pseudodoxia Epidemica’ by Thomas Browne. Browne was a fascinating writer who invented hundreds of English words, which are still in popular use today.
In collaboration with Jason Hyde.
