Results/Print Communication

Hethel Innovation
Business cards

Hethel Innovation is a new business support service based at the Hethel Engineering Centre – drawing upon its expertise in high performance engineering and manufacturing.

Our challenge was to present such dual branding into a distinctive and coherent style which communicates their value and commitment to innovation. Once the logo for Hethel Innovation was established,
we designed their business card to feature two individual sides.

Hethel Engineering Centre was defined by a paper choice from GF Smith's stunning Peregrina Classic Brushed Aluminium.
Once turned over, the card displays Hethel Innovation, overprinted in metallic silver onto a dominant orange.

The end result is stylish and symbolic of their engineering innovation. And a lasting impression after each new business meeting.

Landscape Group
Presentation Folder

The Landscape Group are an enterprise from the University of East Anglia, which offers expertise in the investigation of history and archaeology of the landscape.

A quality folder was required to detail their various projects and case studies – Studio's design leads with dramatic panoramic photography, which conveys the heritage of the United Kingdom's landscape. Plus, the use of a richly textured paper stock adds to the overall experience.

Generic folder inserts were also printed - Studio supplying the Landscape Group with a template design to enable them to maintain new information, when required.

Norwich University College
Of The Arts
Undergraduate Prospectus 2012

In recent years, Norwich University College of the Arts has re-branded, but like any large organisation, it has to consider how its visual communication continues to evolve.

For the latest Undergraduate Prospectus,
the three schools of NUCA (Art, Design and Media) were required to be more distinctive. To navigate each school, a colour-coded bar device was featured throughout the document, which were supported by striking colour divider spreads. Plus, the addition of Student and Alumni profiles and gallery spreads for each course were
also introduced.

Working with NUCA, Studio discussed how this prospectus would inspire prospective students to enrol and promote their prospects of employability. Studio entitled the prospectus 'Begin' to reflect a student's journey through higher education, their lasting friendships and the foundation for future careers.

University of East Anglia
Annual Report 2008–09

An Annual Report with a charitable purpose.

Our pitch was to further the awareness of the University’s international work and its achievement of the Queen’s Anniversary Prize. As a result, the UEA Africa PhD Scholarship Programme was established -
its objective to raise at least £120,000 to fund four african students for a three-year course. This innovative idea will help provide them with a life–changing opportunity they would not otherwise have.

The Annual Report's visual theme features landscape imagery from Rwanda, from a region known as the Thousand Hills in Nyungwe - an area worked in by the University’s School of International Development.

Access to Music
Open Days Newspaper

Universities and colleges alike have the challenge of attracting potential new students. Open Days are an ideal occasion to present their variety of courses. Studio recommended an exclusive newspaper to compliment the day’s activities. Plus, it’s desirable to pick-up as you tour the campus.

Studio Results Booklet
2008–09

Studio’s first book, celebrating our first 2 years – strictly limited to 300 hand numbered copies and available to clients, supporters and friends. Interesting fact: it was hand-stitched in red thread by a man-in-a-shed in Essex, who was snowbound at
the time.

Please email us, if you’d like a copy.

Geoffrey LeFever
Selected Works

We love projects like these, especially as it supports the arts. Celebrating the work of artist Geoffrey Lefever, Studio proposed
a perfect bound book, with two contrasting stocks which highlighted both text
and image.
